E-Nadu Youth Co-operative Society, which was included in the Chief Minister’s 100 Day Karma program and started its activities on August 8, 2021 as a center at Veliyannur in Kottayam district, is moving ahead with the goal of recovering the health and beauty of Kerala by harnessing the energy of youth in the field of waste disposal, which is one of the major challenges facing the nation today. In 2022, E-Nadu became the first youth cooperative from the cooperative sector to become a service provider approved by the Sanitation Mission.
India’s first multi-layer aerobic bin system, G-Bin, which was discovered through years of experimental observations by FOB Solutions, a start-up at KanjiraPilli Amal Jyoti Engineering College, is now distributed all over Kerala by E-Nadu. Jee-Bin can be said to be the best of the multi-source waste management systems currently available in the public and private sectors. Service support is what sets E-Nadu apart from other suppliers.
Once a bin is installed, the society’s technician will give very specific instructions to the customer on how to use it. A pamphlet will also be distributed in this regard. In case of any doubts or complaints, the phone number to be contacted is also provided. Also there is a support team working online to resolve most of the issues. Launching a mobile app by a service provider in the field of waste management is a matter of great pride. It is the E-Nadu group from the cooperative sector. Through this, the activities implemented by E-Nadu Society in the field of waste management can be known. Items like Jee-Bin and Inoculum can be ordered through this app. This application can be used for geo-tagging every bin distributed by e-Nadu. This will ensure that the beneficiary receives the bin. This application helps to inform everyone about waste management at source, government’s intervention in this sector, use of bin, to express doubts and complaints to the beneficiary about the operation of the bin and for the representatives of the group to accurately record their activities.
Above all these we have developed a very scientific supporting method. No matter how well-understood, a new habit we start requires 30 to 60 days of proper practice and observation if it is to become perfect. Therefore, a system has been devised to provide necessary assistance and instructions to the customer over the phone and directly from the day the bin is installed. At the initial stage the beneficiary is contacted over phone to understand the usage issues and if they are facing any difficulties they are given necessary instructions to solve them. Also technical team provides assistance through video call. In case of in-person troubleshooting, our designated technician will directly visit the beneficiary and provide the necessary assistance. We provide 2 free support during this period. Telephonic/video support is available on all working days from 9 am to 6 pm from the support number.
